It is advised that at least once a year your Granite Worktops are Powercleaned that is stripped Back to its natural form and Re-Stainstoped with an Impregnator. MG Marble and Granite in Manchester offer a maintenance package for your peace of mind.
Please ensure that nothing acidic is left on your worktops as this breaks down the Stainstop, lighter colours should be Stainstoped 2-3 Times.
Becareful with oils on Granite especially light colours.
Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids on marble or limestone. Strong detergents or corrosive liquids can dull the polished marble/granite surface and should not be used.
Don't use abrasive cleaners such as dry cleansers, scouring powders, or 'soft' cleansers. Do not mix cleaning products such as ammonia and bleach together - the result is toxic.
Lithofin Easy Clean should be used as dailey cleaner.
